Wildlife and Fisheries Science

Why Wildlife?

In the Wildlife and Fisheries Science program, students are able to chose from two options; the wildlife option, or the fisheries option. I chose the wildlife option, because I intend on becoming a game warden in New York State after graduation. I have also always been more interesting in the animal side of ecosystems, rather then  the aquatic side. Through this major, I will deepen my understanding on the ecology, management, and conservation of wildlife, as well as improve my knowledge on how each component of the ecosystem interacts.
